The value of teachers are underestimated . They spend more time with your children than you do. Important that you know that teacher well so as to work with them toward educating your child.

Good tribute to teachers, a profession that can be so easily overlooked. Good rhyme, rhythm, and flow. Touch of humor thrown in for good measure. Well done.

This is a wonderful tribute to the selflessness of teachers which goes against the usual trope of kids disliking school. Excellently written acrostic. Thanks for sharing this. R

Bravo, RHONNIE69;
-I opened up this page And witnessed two children in the silhouetted format and each reading a book. I slowly surmise before my very eyes, that The system do something with education, learning, golden rules, etc. etc.
-I love you all and I witness also a rhyming couplet quatrain written in iambic tetrameter followed by iambic Trimeter.
-On top of this there is acrostic poem That has been manipulated to a formatted structure of rhyming couplets. Just happens to be there were enough letters to finish it as a running couplet. Great job adding the "S".
-On the letter "R" I would have used resilience. Reason being,, and that I've only Been a teacher for one semester , But as a student teacher, And I thought being resilience after being or trying to be brought down by students boards are big part of my learning.
-Thanks for sharing this my friend, as I really enjoyed the mixed formatted combination of poems.
-Take care and have a good one especially with all those that love you dearly.

This is a deserving winner. It is a poem that has everything. Rhyme, flow and most of all a great message.
Teachers really are the HEROES of the education system. Most give their ALL for their students, unless of course we're speaking about the cane-happy Brothers who taught me!

No tribute to any of my excellent teachers would be complete without acknowledging my two older sisters who taught me very well before I started school. They created such a thirst for learning within me that when I started school, i was far ahead of almost all of the other students in my class. A student who enjoys learning is for a teacher like found treasure. Thank you to all my teachers, including my wonderful sisters.
