Good morning, Sis Cat: I've missed you. It's been a while but I am so happy to see a post from you this Sunday morning and a really cheery one it is. While I was reading this poem song, I said to myself, "I can actually picture Andre performing this song."
I was also sure that you would be attaching your video to it. I was shocked to see that you didn't already. This is a wonderful story in a poem for the contest. I was a little shocked that the parents were at first okay with leaving without the dog. (lol) I was happy that Buddy caught up with them so it was a happy ending. WONDERFUL!

Thank you, Tier, for your glowing review. I have been in a six week songwriting class which ends Tuesday. All of my posts recently have been song assignments which I posted in blind entry FS contests before class so I could get feedback to improve them. FS do not send out messages for blind entries. Also, I do not review when I am writing, so I can focus. Once I hit $50.00 member dollars--enough to post a song--I stop reviewing. I have only four cents now, so I will be reviewing a lot to post my next effort in the top six.
Yes, I can hear and see me performing this. I am getting ready for two performances this week and hope to add a video soon to this post. Thank you for your wonderful, encouraging review and for wishing me success in the contest.

LOL it loses something without the music and the flow that you meant it to have but we do get the gist about leaving the dog behind only to hear the anguished cry from the son and the elation of seeing him running to catch up. Now I want the song.
