I don't think God really expects much from us. If a murdering wife stealer like Dais could be a man after God's own heart, how high can the bar be? God knows we need all the help we can get.

A very strong poem. The style you have chosen fits the poem itself very nicely, and I do hope you continue to do more poetry like this one, it's very enjoyable.

If we ever got to a point in life that we felt we had reached His expectation for us, we would give up. There are times we face new challenges and then there are handed to us new expectations from Him. Patricia

Well, I think you have raised an important question. It seems to me that our whole life is attempting to 'deliver' God's expectation/will for us. The poem is well written. In its succinctness we get right to the point, to the important question. That allows the reader the opportunity to THINK, rather than just read.

This is a tough question. I guess God is pretty disappointed in us in some respects, but there are still many good people in the world. So I guess he has his moments.
A bit like a parent...
Thanks for sharing.

These two lines are a fact and a questions. I think in general probably not. But a few of us try mightily and may succeed in meeting some of His expectations.

A very good idea. There is another form like this called a Quinzaine and it's written in 7-5-3 format. The first line is a statement and the two other lines ask a question
Eg. We are from God's creation.(7)
Can we deliver what is (5)
expected? (3)
Typo and suggestion to improve your work.
born(Born) we are from God's creation(.)
can(Can) we deliver his expectation(?)

A very good two line poem. Not sure about the art work but I liked the rhyme and the message that was portrayed in very few words. Best wishes.

Ok this is different and a statement followed by a question that will make us think. Born in God's idea, but we have gone our own way as I think He knew we would

All we can do is to do our very best to try, kahpot.
Of course, we shouldrealize beforehand that God's expectations are high but not impossible to meet. If it were easy, there would be no effort or sacrifice on our parts to achieve them.
Good query, the answer is relative to the one doing the reading, I suppose.
