Really beautiful poem, Vance! I do appreciate your exhortation to not fear all these devastating events of nature that our country has experienced recently. But we need to seek Him with hearts and minds as you say, "Plump and rich with sincere GRATITUDE." Amen.

I can't give this less than six stars... for the wonderful sentiments expressed, and so concisely and creatively expressed too. I love your philosophy. It makes so much sense to me. We all have to deal with storms, thorns, rocky paths and many uncertainties, but as you so nicely point out, God uses these things to help us, not to harm us, so we have many reasons to be grateful, even in difficult times. Well said, my friend.
I think your editor forgot an R on the end of you... Shouldn't that be "Are not there to stir YOUR fears?" Otherwise, I saw nothing to complain about. I love the picture. It fits so well with the words.
