This jealousy poem, Forever Obsession, taps into the adhesive properties of relationships. Even when the split is marked with all kinds of signs of 'no return', the mind can write a personal narrative that brings a philanderer back, no questions, no reprisals, and no hard feelings.

I love the points made, and the rhyming, especially in the last four lines, is very rhythmic and and had me reading multiple times.

Good luck in the contest. I think you nailed it.

Great poem, sad reality for too many. I wish we could all learn that if a person causes such pain; they are not worth our time, trouble, heartache, or obsession.

This is an excellent portrayal of jealousy. Many readers will be able to relate to the content. This poem shows the fickle state of love. This is an excellent piece of work. Good luck in the contest. I would not change a thing. The image is perfect. My vote is yours!

Brigitte

This speaks how difficult it is to forget love and how tough it is to keep aside the impact of obsession, she hates her lover left her but she still cannot completely wipe out him; I liked.

Your poem does what all good poetry should do and that ignites the imagination of the reader. Well done and the Image complements your work. A joy to read and contemplate. Well done, sometimes the grass isn't' always greener.

Dear Mystery Writer,

Wow. This chick has it bad. *smile* This poem is a great example of how sin creeps into your life and one small problem/issue can become larger and larger and finally, takes over your whole life:

She started out with a love - which turned turned into something evil when he left her.

How did she react?
She called him names/
Decided she HATES him
She enters into a depression.
She wants to kill him (or her?)

What an ugly progression!

Your poem makes a great point about this stuff. Be careful unless you want to follow this plot line! *smile*

Good luck in the contest!!
