That should put all the children off going out trick or treating! LOL, even I won't go out now. It's coming up fast and this is an excellent poem for the contest. Well done and good luck, Patty! :) Sandra xx

Hi, Patty

= This is a good entry-albeit, not so good for the kids!
= If the link at the bottom is a video, you need to past it in =authors notes= and it will appear.
= I tried copy/paste into the browser and it does not come up.
= Hope you do well in the contest. Good Luck.

Cheers, J (*<*)

    Hi Jax;
    Is the link still showing under the poem? It doesn't show in my author's view. I did delete and add to the Author Notes. Did you see it there?

A frightening poem for parents. Particularly parents of small children.
Witches hate high pitched laughter? As I remember my childhood days, it seemed the witches laughed with high pitched laughter. Maybe that is why they are so miserable. They don't like to hear themselves laugh.
You mentioned their wardrobe but said nothing about casting spells or long crooked noses with warts. You could have made an attempt here to be a little more descriptive.
It is a sure bet we parents won't let our child be too tempted by the lure of candy offered to them by witches.
