In this poem I am following the stream of consciousness of the narrator as they reflect upon life.The narrator is alone and expects to remain so-on a shelf.At times the fear of loneliness is palpable, -comprehend the journey in a true fact account events:Fright times it years of fears-.Lines 22 to 24 evoke in me the feeling that the narrator is bordering upon a breakdown,that they are fragmenting.This poem appeals to my imagination above all,I was drawn in by its brilliant first line.You set word patterns in unorthodox,for want of a better word,ways,which is innovative.I get the feeling that there there is more to this poem as well. Thank you for the read.

This poem is well written, free flowing, and authentic. It is often difficult to express what's in our mubds this way and you have succeeded. Many will relate to the feelings you have shared.

I really like the way your poem captures a sense of inner struggle. The word choices are excellent. Like "my soul it's isolated" and "a sad forgotten song," is so powerful. The journey to "death's door" and the way you share the "torch soul fails" really hit hard. Your work leaves a lot to think about and I love the deep tone you've created. Keep going!

A well written poem which invites the reader to look at their own inner journey. It made me feel sad to. I think it was the strong opening to the poem. Great work a pleasure to read and thanks for sharing.
