thank you for sharing this 'mostly' free verse. I think many of us struggle with the 'free verse.' I have studied a bit on it, and while it doesn't have a specific rhyming pattern, it is supposed to have a structure to it.
This poem moves along with style and grace. Well done,

It's tough that you couldn't avoid those rhymes as I find rhymes in freestyle quite jarring. It's great otherwise, but for me personally, it didn't read well.
