A very well-written poem. Our shadow is an unseperable part of us. Wherever we are it is our silent partner that moves whenever we move behind or in front of us from the moment we wake up till we go to sleep.

This is a very good poem. It has a bit of levity in it with the last line. I suggest "sometimes follows" in the second line. Otherwise a great entry for the contest. Marilyn

This is a witty 2-4-4-12 that describes our personal shadows very well. I like the use of repetition and rhyme. You also personify the shadow as a friend, not a stalker. A fun read. Rod
