My daughter had one when she was a teen aged we called her Houdini she kept escaping from her cage and she would only come if I called her bysqueaking like her in genie pig language.

I can realate, I used to raise them. My very first was named porkchop and he was a rescue. His owner got tired of him and was going to set him lose in the winter. You captured them perfectly

My husband and I love our guinea pigs Yeti and Trixie. How awful to set one lose in the winter, he would have never survived. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Elaine
