Your grandbaby is growing up so quickly. Lovely new photos. God bless her. And this is a lovely poem to commemorate her growing up milestones. Well thought out. Nicely written. Great work.

What are they thinking? I watch my niece and nephew. When they have those pensive moments I often ask myself that question. Lovely presentation and poem as well. Good job on the rondelet. Smoothly executed.

Very many thanks, Sandy, for your kind review and comments. It is intriguing to wonder what they are thinking - and how they process their thoughts when they have such a limited vocabulary! All the best, Tony

OH yes in everything. Right?
Before one jumps or decides fate, one must think, but do we?
Love your analogy and the strength of this for the contest.

This is a cute picture with fitting words to describe it. If we all thought so hard before we talked or acted there would definitely be less discord.
Good luck in the contest.

Children do think a lot. Sometimes they do not think like adults because they are still learning. It is such an important time for parents to talk to their children and tell them about things that they see even if the questions haven't come yet.

Again, many thanks for your review, Nicole. I wonder how they process their thoughts before they have acquired enough vocabulary to speak?
-
Probably through emotion and images. I reckon babies know many nouns long before they can talk. I also believe that they recognise their parents' voices at birth.

I find it challenging to have a repetition of a line three times in a seven line poem. But the refrain, "Much thought is due" works well to be repeated as the poem expands on where the thoughts are dwelling each day. Adorable child in the photo!

So many sincere thanks for this truly lovely and outstanding free lesson on this poetic style. This work is beautifully presented in all ways and I consider it a generous gift of wisdom and delight so very graciously given by this wonderful and talented author. HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

What an adorable picture, Tony, and an equally adorable topic for your Rondelet poetry contest entry.
Good composition and form -- this is one of the best entries I have read for this contest thus far.

A very well-written Rondelet. Some things need a lot of thought. There are many mysteries to solve as well. A very adorable model to illustrate your poem.
