Hi Margaret;
thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I had so much fun putting this nonet together; I wanted to bring in all of my favorite things about fall within the syllable count, and I found a way!

(question is: why did you give me a 4?)

I know that when I first run out of sixes, I do it -- just naturally go to the one up from the bottom and inadvertently give out fours!)

Describes Fall perfectly. The cooler air at night and the smell of fireplaces in the neighborhood are what I think of.

Great entry into this contest. I love all that you mention except the flannel sheets. I can't wear it against my skin. I'm like the Princess and the Pea.
