It seems Anderson has his hands full, finding a qualified lawyer and helping Emily adjust to living with him. She has clearly been spoiled and needs some readjusting to his expectations.

"Can Aunt Helen put some chocolate in it? It tastes like milk." (Hahaha! I like the way you add her to the story.)
"White milk is fine." Emily pouted, as he continued, "That's why I want to hire an attorney who specializes in these types of situations." (Funnily, to me that sounds like he's hiring an attorney about the milk/chocolate situation. Maybe it's just me though.)
Well, it seems they are getting closer. The woman in Cal. is a great find and hopefully it can help.
Another very good chapter, mate. Well done.

Story flowed nicely even though I'm catching it in the middle. The characters feel real and the dialogue true. Just this sentence: "I agree, since he specializes in divorce and custody and they in business deals. Nice job Mary

It's quite likely that he bought it and has a receipt. He would not know it was stolen and thought it was a legitimate deal. Still, he loses all that money. I guess someone has to lose in this dispute. But he won't want to be the one and will fight for "his" property, I think.

I have made some of the corrections you suggested. You're correct tiramisu does not have a plural. I had to look that one up. Thank you for the catches.
