A very well-written ten word poem. The Kitty is very upset how could they forget to feed me. He is already thinner and hungry. He needs dinner very quickly now.

Thank you, Sandra, for your indignant reaction to the plight of the hungry kitten. You can relax. i'm sure he's been fed by now.
Your comments always are appreciated.

I generally avoid the briefer poetic forms, like Haiku and Senryu. But sometimes a brief expression can be artistic. Yours makes good and simple sense. (Even if one is not a cat lover!) Good luck in the contest.

It's especially rewarding to know my little poem was appreciated by someone not a fancier of felines. Thank you, Thal.

Thanks again, rd, my dear. I'm glad you enjoyed my cat humor. I do try to induce chuckles when possible. (LOL"s have no meaning anymore, if they ever were truthful.) It's always a treat to hear from you;

It can mean lots of love too. :)

This ten-word poem, In A Huff, has exactly ten words in it and
provides a cute rhyme to go along with the reminding whine from the one who knows that, once again, no one remembered to feed the cat.

I love it! Great entry. It's funny and it rhymes. So true. My cats demand frequent feedings so I could relate to this for sure. The picture is a perfect fit. Nice work. Best wishes in the contest! :)

cute.
you made every word count.
and darling picture to go with it.
AND a clever way to rhyme - incorporating the kitten's meow.
good entry and good job.

If kittens could only speak! Your words describe the picture perfectly. I like the way you have used a rhyme pair to open and close your poem, which gives it a nice sense of completeness.

That is an adorable artwork choice. I don't mind being thin, but growling tummies are never okay. Good lyrical flow. Good rhymes. Well thought out and clearly written. Great work. Good luck in the contest :)

Thanks, Alicia! The way you started your review sounded like it was written by a cat. It wasn't, was it? :-)
