I'm glad to hear that, fastdigits. It's easy to do if you know how. Just revisit the piece, and you'll see the old review in the review box, and you can make whatever revisions you want (except lowering the grade or raising it to six stars). You'll find it in the closed voting booth for that contest..

It's a cute piece. It captures the psyche of cats well. For ten words its solid, but overall, it's unspectacular. I would try swapping the first two lines, that would give the piece a greater sense of urgency at the beginning, while keeping the rhyme.

Oh so ADORABLE my favourite Tabby kittens just like my beloved Bertie was as a baby...he has since passed away...I've not met many cats who actually DO like milk...cream is another matter! Well done anyway this is s cute and funny love Meia x

This is a fun poem. I can see my cats reciting your words. "I'm feeling thinner" is a great opening line that draws the reader into your poem. Excellent use of rhyming words.

Your poem made me laugh, a hard thing to do before my coffee. You met the criteria of the contest. Although short your poem is powerful, I'm a pet lover and it is beyond me how anyone could forget to feed their pet. But I guess in our busy world it happens.

Cute!! Except this cat is being too polite about it. The cats I know would rip their owners to shreds and drag what's left of them to the kitchen and just let them figure out the problem. Haha!!
