Can see this occurring.
Touch of humor thrown in for good measure in this well written posting.
Should have given her that puppy she asked for.
Should make an interesting entry into this contest.

Cute and well written. The title is very nice and the picture so sweet. If this is for dialogue only contest I don't know if the "later" might cause a problem. As for child's perspective it will do very well. Good luck.

It's the "From the Child's Perspective" contest. I just chose to write it in dialogue.
Thanks for your nice review.

A very well-written two way dialogue between father and daughter. She wants a puppy to play with. Daddy tells her to throw balls to Jake the big dog they already had. She misunderstood and throw golf balls smeared with grape jelly. Lol.

Very cute little story and probably how a small child would think. Alas! I don't think you want to use those recycled balls anymore. And poor old doggy with all that grape jelly inside him! I like how your story moved along, but was short and to the point. You kept us wondering what would happen next which is good. Thanks, Carol

Lol. Im not sure whether to feel more sorry for Dad or Jake! That would have to be one heck of a tummy ache.
I didnt see anything in need of correction. All the very best in the contest.

It is a very fun story told through the eyes of the child. Dialog only stories are really my thing but it worked well here. Good luck in the contest.

Children certainly have a way of turning the tables on us occasionally! Wide-eyed innocence can be an unassailable attribute at times! A story that pivots nicely in the middle, as the tables are turned. I have a book of golfing anecdotes, but this one beats most of them!

tried to find a picture of a Great Dane on Fanstory, but couldn't, as they don't take but one word in the search area, so I thought Miss Wide-eyed innocence could work. Thank you for your very nice review.
Your golf anecdotes were true events. Heaven forbid that this one ever is.
