Lovely, Just lovely, JM. A nice ease into simpleness, and I mean that positively. Sometimes, some things just have to be told in marvelous simplicity, as a new morning awakens, and this is such a time. Lovely descriptive stanzas that awaken senses as if right there enjoying the moment with you.

This is a very touching poem. It speaks volumes about the love and feelings about a partner or lover one. While all the other dreams, wants, and desires may be present, it is comforting that the choice to be with someone is made willingly.

Thank you Analie for your thoughtful and encouraging review. The poem is really about my husband. We did move to be near grandchildren but they have a way of growing up. They are now 23, 19 and 17. The 23-yr-old is playing professional soccer in Australia, the 19-yr-old is in his sophomore year in college and the youngest is a junior in high school. They really don't need us like they did 12 years ago when we moved here to be near them. I guess that is a good thing. LOL
I'm glad you are enjoying your grandchildren. The times with them are priceless.
