This is a lovely poem and photo, I also like the background color you chose.Iris are beautiful flowers, I love all kinds especially tulips. I really like the strong rhyme in your poem, and that is my favorite kind of poetry.The sentiment is also sweet, that you old rather be with the one you love than anywhere else in the world.Thanks for sharing.

Very cool love poem. I kind of tend to stay away from love poems because they can be incredibly sappy but this one is short, sweet and gets the job done without the unnecessary sap. Good luck with the contest.

This line bothers me. I love the poem but this line seems disconnected some how. Suggestion.. I'd still prefer being here with you where purple iris grow..
