Exceptional

Snap crackle pop!

well done, dear Sis Cat. Superb word economy, imagery and phonetics. True to form. I particularly applaud the consonance of K-C, and L-- and alliteration of S and P. Good flow too. Good subtle personification as well. Enjoyed this--especially read aloud.

The tight an polished delivery, phonetics and uniqueness nudge this to a six.

Warmly, rd

Oh, thank you, Rama, for giving my Haiku not only its first review, but a six star review, too. The crackling sound of pine cones popping open in 106 degree heat astounded me two days ago. I wrote a page of drafts to find the right words to describe this phenomenon. Thanks again.
