Bill, this is a good entry for the Ethics and Integrity contest. Trump is a hot topic of discontent since coming to power. You have highlighted a few issues in this well rhymed acrostic poem. The very last line - Is that what we want in a Prez? - question marked. The word 'Integrity' ends with the 'Y' so the question you have posed may be a questionable add on although an important point. Either way a great piece which should do well. I think so anyway :-) ~DD

Thanks, DD, for the nice review. Since the contest wasn't for acrostic specifically, I wasn't concerned about that aspect. The title, though, does say the acrostic word and the final line. I would have noted that, but actually felt it was not a problem. You are the second reviewer to comment on it.

I'm not really able to comment on the politics here, though the way the world press paints President Trump certainly emphasises the kind of points you are making. I appreciated the addition of rhyming couplets to your acrostic and the way you have chosen to highlight the first words of each line.

An acrostic - not the easiest of styles -AND you kept rhyme - most impressive.
I often wonder how Trump ever got the Presidency in the first place - we have a Labour leader here who is just as scheming and does nothing more than bad mouth the Prime Minister and make false promises to people to get their vote.
I cringe at the thought of him becoming the nexdt Prime Minister.

The sad realization that powerful people in government can keep a fruit loop like Trump in the White House makes me ponder the future of the free world.

I am in Australia and we get news here but do not know or feel or live through that which the Americans do
so I cannot comment on the content except to say
it sounds pretty much the way it is

integrity the Left has not
it seems to me that they forgot
It was Obama stirred the pot
of racial hatred tommyrot.
It doesn't matter what Trump does
The left dislikes him. That's because
they just can't stand it that they lost,
So they create this holocaust.
Our President is a patriot
which the LAST one sure was not.
He has accomplished more to date
than wimpy Barry did in eight.
He fights for vets and and actives, too
He fights for liberals like you.
For eight long years we watched the man
turn our once proud and sacred land
to one divided, weak and bland;
apologizing to our foes
and drawing red lines with his toes
that others crossed time and again
'cause Pres'dent O was not a man.
I could go on with facts - a lot,
But I will not.
