The old proverb, "honesty is the best policy" is still very good advice today, as much as it was many years ago. Proverbs 19:9, warns of dire consequences for lying, but I think you're right Linda, it's all a part of deception, and devilish thing! A very well-written poem. A life of lies are a very difficult life. A person always have to remember what lie to tell to cover up for the previous lies. It is better to always tell the truth.
