Hello my friend yes this is well written hunting for pleasure should be abolished before we lose so many animals that are scarce , are humans far behind I don't think so the way things are going in the world today you used this photograph well regards Jill

Hi Jill; thank you so much for the lovely review of my 'Picture This' poem. I simply get so sad when I think of the plight of the animals that simply want to live their lives, only to be killed for sport,

A very well-written Sevelte poem for the picture this challenge. Poaching is a terrible reality where the animals are killed only for their tusks and horns, the rest of the animal is just leave to rot.

Patty, I am in agreement with the message of you poetic offering on the photo. There was a day when man only hunted animal to provide food for his family and to keep the population of the animal at a level that the species would survive. But man cannot eat the wildlife of Africa such as the elephant. Excellent write that has a powerful message. Patricia

Hi Patricia; I hope you are feeling somewhat better today. I was so sad to read your profile notes about having to move out of your house. I know it must be hard for you to give up your independence.
