Hello again Bret: This is continuing to be an interesting story.
I don't agree though, that Cody should be sent away for 10 days, anywhere. I would keep him very close to me. It is too soon for this boy to be sent away but that's just my opinion.
Also it now seems that the Sheriff did not speak up at the dinner table to say that he also saw Earl Anthony Shroder and was threatened by him. Perhaps Cody was imagining the whole thing? But now they seem to be insinuating that maybe someone else was buried in the coffin at Earl's funeral. I just don't understand why the Sheriff didn't say that he saw Earl when he went to get Cody.
I guess I will find out as I contiunue to read this story so sill following.

Hello,
The last comment went way over my head. But maybe -- he took something that made his body look dead but not really, like when Cody took the ketchup and salt, it wouldn't be real tomato soup but look like it?
Have a good week.

Hi Brett. That scene in the Italian restaurant made me hungry. Love a good pasta. So we don't know if the Earl character is dead or alive. I thought it strange that Cody would suggest he dig up the casket. Shows a little maturity in thinking. This is a well written chapter with enough details to leave a reader following the story ready for the next chapter. Nicely done! xoxo Kiwi

That's what I want to know is about his death. Cant wait to see what sheriff does next to help Cody and if his dad will get his hands on him again or go for someone else
