G'daaaaaaay, Padna.

I almost jumped through the roof (it's five-feet-five high and I'm five-eight) when I saw a post from you. Thank you for coming back and I hope you are feeling heaps better. Delia and Champers say "Kumusta."

Righto, let's go.

"How was he to lead the women, one pregnant, and the other terrified of being underground, to a city of outcasts?" (Scary.)

"On and on the questions flowed as Archie sat engulfed in indecision(.) He kept thinking"

"Sani seems to think so, but I will need more convincing."

"Do you want to wrestle?" (Hahahaha!)

"Either way, they added to the wolf-like impression of the man." (Fabulous, descriptive paragraph.)

"Besides, Leander Senior is my father." (Wow.)

"After years in politics, he had learned to trust his instincts... that and watch his back." (You betcha! I learned that a few times over the years that I was involved. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.")

Brilliant, Sis.

What a great way for you to return... this is fabulous work and worth waiting for.

No pressure, but... Bring on the next one.

Cheers Fez

Thank you, Feral! I love those six stars and the six star review. I can always count on you to add flavor to the writing. You get right to the heart of the message, and you add your wonderful and humorous comments.

It's also helpful when you tell how to make improvements. I would say we work well together. Thanks for the encouragement, and thanks to the Kwalas!!

    Take care, my friend,

    Always welcome, Padna.

You are correct about working well together... like Laurel and Hardy... kinda hahahaha!

Laurel and Hardy... that's definitely us!

lol. Delia will be so happy to read this, from you.

She's been riding me for weeks now... "I think Rhonda is upset with us... please contact Rhonda... Have you got Rhonda's phone #...

The first thing she does in the morning, at 5am is check my email and facebook to see if you are there. When you are she wakes me up all excited and when you're not, she sits and reflects. lol.

I keep reminding her that you've been out of action... but still the harassment continues. Hahahaha!

Awwwww, Delia is so sweet. It is really hard to focus on anything but recovery when you are so sick. I've never been like that, not even when I got kicked by the bull. You would know more about that. You've been in a lot of extreme situations.

Tell Delia hi for me, and that I'm not upset. I'm glad you were able to go when I could not. You've encouraged me to get back on here. So has she!

And Archie's convictions would seem to apply to this day and age. Especially where politics is concerned. I enjoyed your story and Archie's adventure.

Archie shrugged and followed his furry guide. He certainly was not comfortable with the turn of events, but what choice did he have? The only way he would free the miners was to trust one of them. After years in politics, he had learned to trust his instincts... that and watch his back. ~ Yep, especially that!

Another fine chapter, Rhonda--and a big hairy leader that you don't trust? Sounds familiar--Not that The Big Dump's particularly hairy, but most of his ideas are!

Great intro to Jacob. I like the masculine bantering and sizing each other up. Then there is that uncertainty of how much each can trust the other. Well done. So happy to see you posting again, Rhonda! Bless you and hope you're feeling well now.

Thank you so much for the wonderful six star rating, my friend! Yes, they were doing the guy thing. Funny how guys do that. lol.
I'm trying to make myself stop being so lazy. I got used to watching a lot of TV while recovering. Passive entertainment became too easy. I just started back to work this past week, so figured I should probably dust the laptop off as well.

Thanks again for the beautiful six stars!

The fantasy surrounding mixed breeding has long been speculated, although matching intelligence with intelligence, broadly worked back to normal, and of course, the Nazis experimented...So with the exit of Sani, comes a mix-match Jacob, hairy, long canines etc. good scribing, Rhonda, good to see you back in the literary saddle, and healed I hope, beautifully written intrigue, well done. Blessings, Roy

    Thank you, Roy!
I'm glad to be back. I found it very hard to stir up the imagination when recovering. It was a long journey I don't care to go through again, but the Lord saw me through it. I still have some issues, but am back to work and looking forward to normalcy!
Thanks for you prayers and support,

    Rhonda

First of all, thank you for the beautiful six stars! It really helps to encourage me to go on.
I did think of dropping it all, but a mutual friend (Feral) doesn't let me give up. I feel good pushing on.

Thank you so very very much,

Oh wow this took another turn unexpectedly and I believe adds to the uncertainty of the whole plan and yet more help is better. Nicely added

Thank you, Barb. I'm glad you enjoyed the twist. There will be more. More help is always good, but first they need to understand one another enough to work together.

    Take care,
    Rhonda
