This is really lovely, Dean. Even without the picture, I can feel and hear and see the sparkling, shimmering sea and the soft sand and the reflection of the stars on the waters.

Thanks for reading, lyenochka. That's what I was hoping for, the type of reaction you've described in your review.

Oh, this is such a fairytale haiku, Dean. Expertly done from a technical standpoint. Two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery in lines 1 and 2 and a soft, dream-like satori in line 3. Great S alliteration in lines 1 and 2.

I absolutely loved the picture! It draws the reader in. I love pictures of the night sea, and it really appeased me. Where did you find it?

A wonderful contribution to the site's book, thank you for your collaboration.

Dean, my review was cut short. I don't which version you read. I went back and edited it - look again. So sorry, it happens sometimes on the site.

Yeah, I got the shorter version of your review the first time, lol.
The animation came from my Photobucket library. I keep several such gifs on hand for a variety of different writing reasons and genres.

Wonderful S-word alliteration. It forces the satori memorable. Well thought out and nicely written. Colorful. Romantic. And such a nice haiku member you are... I hope your cliche appreciates you for the shout-outs and more...

And I'm out of 6ers, but this is very deserving.

Have a nice week :)

Hello Dean, A haiku that beautifully illustrates the essence and feeling of a night beneath the stars along a sandy shore.

Good alliteration and descriptive writing:

soft sandy shores
stars shines/shimmering seas.

After reading your poem, I heard a little tune by Acker Bilk playing "Strangers On The Shore."

Just lovely. A pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

Hi Dean; I absolutely love this haiku. Your presentation and words were very soothing, and the kigo was well understood from the sparkle of the water (at least to me.) Well done, as always,

~patty~

This is beautiful, Dean and I'm amazed how you tied it together with the stars giving warmth to the cold sea. This is one of the prettiest haikus I've ever read.

Hello again, Dean,

I was away for two days. Now I'm paying for it, but I had to get away and talk to other friends.

I love the middle part and your Satori is relaxing.

Loved your Haiku, especially on moonlight nights when the stars and the moon show wonderful reflections on still water. Well done my friend. ****** six virtual stars.

Dean,
This is a great haiku. The art is awesome. Your words flow well & the lines are connected as required. The satori makes great sense. I like the alliteration of 's'. Your haiku is a complete package--the words = the art make a memorable read. Thanks for sharing. Jan
