A very well-written faith poem. Sometimes our lives are going on a road of trouble or sickness. When we accept the bad things in our lives without asking why, we practising full faith in God.

The line "taking why right out of it" is brilliantly clever. The whole poem is a clever way of addressing one of life's great mysteries. It does seem that the deeper one delves into mathematics, the more mysterious and almost spiritual it becomes - but, it also seems that math and philosophy can only take us so far and that there are perhaps "there are more things in heaven and earth that are dreamt of in our philosophy".
Perhaps that's why we have poetry.

Thanks, Mark. The relationship between Mathematics and the Creation has spawned some interesting ideas! I'm afraid I'm not very much good either at mathematics or at religion, but they both interest me to some extent! As you suggest, the answers to life's conundrums probably lie in poetry.
