I found this to be an interesting chapter. Its written well, very descriptive , lots of details.

One typo I found was;

'building hasn't been remodeled' instead of remolded

Great read! Blessings...Christy

Thank you for the fantastic review. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Plenty of description you say? You mean I finally did it?(happy dance) My work tends to be dialogue heavy so I was trying to even it out.
Thanks again for the wonderful review take care.

Good chapter. I like how the guys talk to each other... seems realistic, just kidding around. Now Julia is being charged with murder? I thought it was only going to be manslaughter...?

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad you enjoyed the dialogue. They are a fun bunch to write for. I always say my characters make up the story I'm just their secretary.
The charge was changed to murder because the DA believes he can prove malice and forethought. She took a taxi to the house, obtained a weapon, drove to the site, shot the guy went back to the house, called a taxi to take her to the station.
Thank you again for your great review, take care.

Poor Juliaand Larry. This will be interesting to solve.

(")I have a few things actually. The mileage on his car doesn't add up."

"For now.(") Chuckling the lawyer continues "What do you have on Julia?"

"Can (t)The little boy describe the guy?"

Damn, but it's hot here in Ohio.

"The point is these shoes are a size 11 and the ones in the evidence room is an eight,
*** are eights.

"So let's say you were here, Larry, how do you explain the video of you coming in and leaving the city and what about the witness that says he saw you at the crime scene?" Jefferies questions.
*** If the car couldn't have driven to New York, how could he be seen coming into and leaving that city. Or was it his city not New York and he went somewhere, like to a bar, right outside town and back?

Smiling, I leaning against the seat.
*** leaned

Complex. To me, and I'm not an expert, it sounds circumstantial with both sides grasping at and splitting straws.

It does advance the story, though.

Thank you for your great review and helpful suggestions. No, the cam shows a car thought to be his coming into and leaving the NY. but the odometer shows it couldn't have been his unless he rolled the meter back. Your right the only thing solid now is the eyewitness but enough circumstantial has been known to win a case.
Thanks again for the great review, take care.

This speaks about the reality world of crime and investigation, two people were arrested as crime convicts(now suspects) and investigation initiates, really they are innocent; I liked.

As always, if you give the idiots enough rope, they will find a way to hang themselves. Of course, in the mean time, you just have to go along with whatever is being said until you can prove otherwise. Great job. :-)

Misty,

I tried to keep up with the other chapters, but I fell behind. Thank you for bringing the reader up to date.

Julia, unfortunately, tends to find herself in difficult situations. For the most part, due to no fault of her own. I really hope she finds happiness in the end.

I really admire your writing ability. I have never written prose, but I plan to give prose a shot and write a novels upon my retirement.

I will most definitely consult you for writing techniques.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and your kind words they mean a lot to me. Julia does seem to get herself into some sticky situations. Of course, Larry isn't sitting too pretty in the back of squad car heading to NY for his family's murder. Although it wasn't his car, his shoes they still have the eyewitness and tracking device from his phone linked to his wife's car.
Thank you again for your nice review and sweet words, take care.

I sincerely mean them. I don't read and review prose often because I don't write it, and I am unfamiliar with the prose writing technicalities. However, your writing, to me, just stands out. It seems to be writing of a professional author, someone who has written bestsellers. I am privileged to chance your writing on FanStory.

Wow, reads like a Hitcock novel. Kept me on the edge of my seat until the last line.

A superb use of a dialogue which livens the story substantially. I personally think Julia is psychotic and got involved in these murders. But she also seems beautiful, the type men would do anything for. So, they may let her off the hook.

Will there be a sequel? I am interested.
