Awww... I think I'm jealous. How romantic. You're so lucky to have found a man like that. And a good looker too. Good luck in the contest.

Well I must say Patty: You and your husband are two very good looking people. I take it you saw my recent couple picture that I posted, "Hopeless but Hopeful Love." I think that you and I are of the rare few who are not afraid to post pictures of ourselves and our family members.

I love it that you have dedicated this post to this photo of your husband. Wow he is handsome and you deserve it because you are beautiful and I love your choice of words for your photo. ADMIRABLE. I am so happy that you are so happily married, you really deserve this also.

I will soon be posting my anniversary poem, when I slow down. I will mention then how gorgeous I feel that my husband is.

Hi Tier; thank you so much for reading AND for the wonderful compliments about my hubby, me and my writing.

Yes, we are generous in sharing our lives here, and I think that says a lot about who we are AND how we feel about ourselves,

What a lovely tribute to your hubby, Patty
A beautiful five line poem, which I'm sure he would love.
An excellent Lanturne poem contest entry.

A sweet and romantic five-line poem for the contest. I think this an excellent Lanturne poem with a beautiful sentiment.

Well done

Your Lanturne poem is in perfect form. It is a nice tribute to the person it is written for - your husband?

Good luck in the contest Patty:)

Hi Teresa; yup, the poem is for my hubby. That's him in the picture - though it is thirty years ago - before the gray took over his beard.

Thank you for stopping by to read and review,

Dear patty, good lanturne poem. The blue background goes well with your lines "in your bright blue eyes." Good luck in the contest. I'm glad you have someone with whom you can feel "safe." Dove

Hi dove; yes, I'm so lucky to have come through all the crap in my early years, and find someone who makes me feel safe. Luckily, he's been here for thirty four years. It hasn't always been smooth sailing - mostly because of my insecurities and trust issues - but the past five years has been heaven.

Thank you so much for your time to read and review,

Lost
In your
Bright blue eyes
With you I am
Safe

these few words speak volumes, Patty - and he has lovely eyes.

I always go for the eyes (and the tight butt) - my Colin has dark chocolate eyes and the rest - ha ha.

He looks yummy, my friend, although beards are not for me personally. But the blue eyes are adorable and honest. And the smile...

Well you know I'm not much of a poet, so I can't comment much on the rhymes and syllables and that sort of thing. So the five goes to both your words and those blue eyes.

Hi Aki; thank you! If I could only write passionate scenes like you do, I could really tell some stories about the passion behind those eyes. I will just have the treasure the standing ovation we got from neighbors when we had an amorous afternoon one day. Unfortunately, the open bedroom windows let out the um...sounds.
