You painted a blue picture here and there was no need for art to create the atmosphere, I can see shades of blue colour here, best of luck with the poem, love Dolly x

I have been up north during one of these and you truly captured the feel and the 'blueness' of the scene. Excellent flow and ABCB rhyme pattern. Very strong entry

This poem, Winter-scape in Blue, personifies the cold in the best way it can be sensed, as a ferocious, fanged creature ripping at the protection that keeps us safe. The rest of the poem calms us down and ends with a hopeful smoke from a warm shelter. Nice.

It's really interesting, but I've always found winter to look as if it is tinged with blue, and your poem put that very thing right out there as a possibility, or even reality. I enjoyed this. It even made me cold for a minute or two!

This poem was truly wonderful, a lovely density of sound, a subtlety of imagery, and a surreal connection of visions through a musical journey of winter delight.
Excellent patterns of resonance are used to create just the right amount of language to set this beautiful picture.

An excellent work, the background colour is perfect for the poem. The soft, pale blue of a winter's sky, is exactly the colour where I live. The work is skilfully crafted in smooth flowing verse. In iambic tetrameter, and and abcb rjuming, expressive and decriptively image generating, well done, blessings, Roy

Hello author
I like how you start out your poem with a simile
( telling the reader the storm were life starving wolves) and how you brought out the beauty of snow describing the different hues of blue are wonderfully described ex
The turquoise sky, horizon met
as snow-globe shaken flakes still fell.

A very well-written poem about the color blue. A very cold winter's night and a fierce snow storm over night leaves a fairy take landscape of snow in different shades of blue.
