Nice poem, but it sounds like prose to me with all the articles. IDK, but maybe you could poeticize it. Like:
So sad; why are you?
Help you, I must, dry sad tears
Comfort you, with pure love.
Oh, Patty, my example sucks. I am no critique of poetry. It is yours and not mine. (I'm half asleep typing this so this review is not the best. LOL!) TC

thank you for reading and reviewing. I don't like poems that take too long to decipher the meaning. Your example is something I would have 'skipped.' I do my best to make my work clear within the syllable count.

What sincere and beautiful sentiments you've expressed in this 3-line poem, Patty! This reminds me of a type of personal/spiritual writing I do (privately, never shared.) I will ask God a question aloud, then meditate silently. After I've cleared my mind, I simply sit with pen in hand and write what comes. Sometimes, the answers surprise or even confuse me, but God never fails to whisper something to me.

Simple and appropriately formatted to meet criteria. I like the spiritual relevance expressed here, which all tied into each line. The use of two questions was supplemented well with the suggestion at the end. This augmented the poem's appeal. Well done!
