Connie,
I don't know if you had any idea of it, or intended it at all, but this poem reveals something truly special about you --(that we didn't already know so well...) Anyone so kind and loving toward animals is a cool human being! (I already thought you were rather cool, anyway!) *smile*
The poem was clever and smart and I thoroughly enjoyed! Lucky doggie!

Of course you have to go out and play. That is one more good thing about having a dog. You get needed exercise and cannot put it off till later. Her stare won't let you. Such a sweet doggie. :)

Really caught the owners dilemma. Your poem brings out the relationship between a dog with his owner. A wonderful and harmonious relationship that adds much to the quality of our lives. It is essential I feel as they give so much every day. They were made to assist man and has truly been man's best friend for centuries. We have one and your poem reminded us of her. Your poem was a fun read and it flowed well with an excellent rhyme and rhythm.

Thank you so much for such a lovely and thoughtful review. And thank you, also, for the six-star rating. What a nice surprise. I've been on this site for several years now, and I've always enjoyed writing about dogs.
My very best to you.

They sure know how to make you feel guilty, don't they? My cat has to go to the vet for dental work in the morning, and I had to take the food away. I know I can't feed her till after her surgery, but she's sure making me feel mean.

She's OK. She's a bit mad at me, tho.

This is a very well written and sweet poem about your dog that loves to stare and try to get you to come out and play. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery. I love the picture of your furry baby! Beautiful Bella! Blessings, Teri
