Clever use of the burning pile as your accompanying picture -- it even more vividly paints that mental picture of what that lashing must have been like. Bless your soul! This chapter was well written and though, not enjoyable in the least -- adds a lot to your story. Thanks for sharing!

Glad you enjoyed this portion of my autobiography.
I used that picture because I wanted a fire to represent that experience. I believe that picture worked well to convey that image.

I felt every hit with you mate. Nothing like yours but I still remember my first single caning to my hand in Grade 3. I wrote about that in my autobiography. Then the 11 hits one at a time in 5th Grade. He was a dumb teacher. No spags.

A very graphic story of how some people or in fact many people can be so cruel that they enjoy seeing others suffer and bleed. Your story is the epitome of this inhuman behaviour that exists in the world and you did a good job on describing it. In spite of it all in spite of the darkness it can newer overcome the Light. God's Love.

A very well-written chapter. These heartless men should not be in any power position over children. There are limits to what is normal and outrageous disgusting punishment.
