Hello there alliteration King. Take a bow (mind the crown doesn't fall) for your perfectly poisonous postulating. You are so correct in your assessment and managed to do it while peeing on the lot of them which is well deserved. This should do well in the contest. - Wendy

Thanks, I think, Wendy! The truth poisonous?? Puzzled. Don

No, the politicians are poisonous.

Oh. I took "Your perfectly poisonous postulating...." literally. It's a relief to know you actually don't think I postulate poisonously.

Hello Arthur,
Wow what a tongue twister. You have fulfilled the requirements of this poem. It seems that this poem must have taken a lot of effort. You stuck with the letter P through out the whole poem. It was very interesting how well you were able to do this.

This is perfectly pertinent to our polluted political - whatever the "p" word is for morass. You did an excellent job with this! This is funny and sad and apt all at the same time. No one can disagree, no matter their political persuasion. Now go pour yourself a pint of Pabst!

Thank you for your clever and insightful review, Beverly. Pabst?? ;-)
-
Beer. I don't know if it's still being sold!
-
You missed my wink, you lady of a certain age.
I know ancient Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. Probably requires a time machine to pour one - maybe bottle or draft only, but no pint. Thanks again, Beverly!

;) Thanks for your entertaining piece! And you should have won!
-
And thank YOU again, Beverly. You're very kind.

This is a winner! Well written, wonderful vocabulary, excellent rhythm and rhyme - and you followed the instructions. Plus it was fun to read (and sadly true). Thank you. janbar

After reading, I find that 'Politics' is both entertaining and unique.
This poem makes a good entry in the contest.
--When it comes to politics, neither side can talk about the other.
Wow! That's a lot of P's. I've never seen so many P-words on the same page before.
The image shown supports the topic discussed. The background goes well with the art and color of font chosen.
Best of luck to you in the contest.
Thanks for sharing your Pleiades.
Good luck with your future writing.
