This is such a good write Kaye, The Cape Of Good Hope, at one time called the Cape of Storms. also the legendary home of "The Flying Dutchman."
You tell the story of the trials and tribulations felt by the early sailors navigating the Cape, so well in these rhyming quatrains. I enjoyed reading it aloud, One can feel the whip of the wind, and the thread of Poisidon's Trident in each stanza.
Well done.
Thanks for sharing.

Kay, this is a very descriptive and compelling read. It is rich in content and vivid with adventure of sailing the seas and the turbulent weather that is carried with that...and Poseidon's trident and pull. Very nicely done and an enjoyable read. ~DD
Ps.. I hope your feeling much better now :-)

As an ol' sailor I like the imagery, especially when referring to the Cape of Good Hope, a nasty place with a nasty reputation. Flowed well, hope that wasn't a pun, but an easy read and easy to get a handle on.
nice
