Thanks for introducing me to this interesting new form, Patty! I like the rushing home sense and repeated first line emphasizes the continual damage of the rains. Alas, poor shoes! For the line:
But my buildings in sight (I'd suggest the contraction building's as you intend 'is')

You did well I forget where you are America possibly? Loss and Sauce would only rhyme in USA hehe. Loved it hope you do well. The picture was great as well. No spags.

    Loss is same sauce is like sorce no emphasis on r as in "Up Over"
