How your talent shows in this Cinquain. It amazes me how many forms of poetry that can be attempted. I enjoyed reading this poem. Hoping that I have the opportunity to read more of your works. Hugs...Linda

Well worthy of six stars (I have not), for the lesson alone on this very uncommon style of poetry. Beautifully presented in lovely artwork and coloration. I cannot suggest anything to improve this and thank this author for a genuine delight! HIS GRAYNESS

Dark, but I like it. You wove your words to reflect most of life. We have to grab and create happy moments whenever we can. Your presentation was outstanding down to the last syllable.

I really liked this short poem, I mean Cinquain. We all have been through some darkness in our lives, and this perfectly explains it. I also like the cover photo you have included, it compliments the theme nicely.

ps; thank you so much for the shining sixth star

I love this poem! I love the picture! Really artistic and yet creepy. I think we all had a feeling of being pulled in darkness until you feel that there is nothing left, like when we are at our most vulnerable state, or like when our inner demons finally takes over.

Hi there; I'm glad you enjoyed this poem. I wrote it from a dark place, and now that I'm back in the light, I'm glad I was able to find the words to describe the feelings,

Thx patti. This is a creative picture of spiralling towards depression. This can be debilitating and damaging. Wonderful artwork. I appreciate this work of yours. Thx Theresa

Hello Patty, I really like this piece. Though it is a few words it really says a lot. I also like how you gave it further explanation by describing, "into despair" over "Down the Rabbit Hole." It really gave more meaning to your already excellent words. I can feel where you are coming from, relate to it and can honestly say, "I hear you!"
Thank you for sharing this piece. Have a good night.

Hi Tier; thank you so much for this lovely review. Writing this piece was hard as I was in the depths of a depression when I wrote it. I'm doing much better now, and looking back at this poem reminds me of how far and how hard I worked to get here,

The presentation is awesome! I love the artwork and the red background. It adds depth to your poem. You describe well a place I haven't been to in a long time but I do remember it. I can't tell if you are representing how you feel now, or how you have felt or imagined. But that's the beauty of artistic work or any kind. Trying to get inside the mind of the artist who wrote the poem. I feel fortunate not to feel the way your poem presents itself. Thanks for sharing your creative work with me.
Take care, Jesse

thank you so much for reading and the thoughtful review. I suffer from depressions off and on - I wrote this during my last bout in the depths,

I am sorry you suffer from depressions off and on. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you in the depths of which you write. You express yourself powerfully. Thanks for sharing, Patty.

It displays your depth of sadness, your depression. I find I am not able to discover why you are depressed, even though you only have five lines to deal with the subject.
Nice Christmas trees outline effect.

Hi, Patty
= OMGoodness ... such a spot-on depiction of how depression sneaks in and consumes.
= Having been there, I can even identify with the great artwork you chose.
= Nice writing.
