Your poem teaches us that simple things make people heroes. You don't have to go to war or save a life. Helping someone in any way can make you a hero to them.

That has to be such a difficult and confusing emotion to go through, When your not really sure how you feel, or how you should feel. I am so sorry of your lose, my friend. This is a really beautiful and touching poem, it brought tears to my eyes reading it. That has to be such a difficult and confusing emotion to go through, When your not really sure how you feel, or how you should feel. I am so sorry of your lose, my friend. -This is a very heart-related situation with emotional intensity what one recognizes that just a simple friend who lends a Helpful thought in hand to just sincerely cherish your feelings and be tentative to them is a hero all in themselves.
-Just a friend to have a welcoming ear to listen to your problems and your confusion is a hero.
-I don't know how I would activate new of an old girlfriend who I dislike, after a time, And passed away I don't know how I would feel because there were always good times along with the disrupted ones.
-Thank you for very interesting and thought-provoking piece of poetry and take care and have a good one and especially good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Emotions aren't always clear cut and we have to learn to accept them when they come. Tha day, those women brought me comfort. It truly touched my heart and will stay with me always. Some people who hurt us are simply hurt themselves and don't know how to get rid of their feelings. I wish you so much and I so appreciate your words.

It far better to celebrate the life instead of mourning the death. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery.

This piece of free verse is a splendid example of the genre. It gives the impression of great spontaneity although it may well have been very carefully worked over. It has a splendid flow and experience. Ainsdale complex feelings and emotions in a way that is easily understood by the reader.
Although the rhythms are informal and free they hang well together giving the poem great unity. I wish you well in the contest and hope that these six stars will help it on its way.

Lovely artwork that complements your poem extremely well. I don't know which form you chose. You wrote about the mixed feelings after the death of your first husband. Nice entry for this contest, many will relate to this.

Thank you so much. Mixed feelings really are hard to deal with and I know hope others understand. That day several of the women had ex's that died also and they shared how confusing it was to have once loved them yet now they were no longer part of that world. Wow, even at 62 we still have a lot of growing up to do.

you touched my heart with your words. You understood how everyday people can know and understand you, if you let them. When I am truly understood in my poems or stories, I step back and understand how this person understands the un perfect world I truly live in. thank you for telling me I need to keep writing.
