    Thank you Mitchell. Often I wonder where the poems come from. How thoughts and feelings couple with the life's experiences and a poem or a story is born. Sometimes I feel I am just a scribe; some unknown entity dictates and I write. I appreciate your comments immensely. I hope you will read my works in the book titled, 'Random Reflections". You may find more poems of your liking. It is in my portfolio on this website. best regards and wishes.

This speaks the quest whether life is an empty dream and finds the answer it is not, but one who departs life can tell it clearly where it begins and where it ends; I liked.

    As a member of humanity we have to remain optimist even though life often takes us through the cactus path. I was searching for answers and came across Longfellow's poem-Psalm of Life. That spawned my thoughts. Thanks for your comment and rating.

Hello, Niyuta.
Poe wrote in his poem, "A Dream Within a Dream":
"Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream."

And author/poet Lewis Carroll wrote in his poem, "Life is but a Dream":
"In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die;

Ever drifting down the stream
Lingering in the golden gleam
Life, what is it but a dream?"
... So, these sorts of questions have been asked by bards both young and old alike throughout the centuries. We can now add the name, Nituta to that esteemed list.
Well done...

    I just can't express in words how grateful I am for the contribution you made to my collections of poems on Dreaming and Life's reality. I am going to read the poems of three masters you added to your comments. I am humbled by your gracious inclusion of my name in the list. I have long way to go to achieve their status. I appreciate it very much. Thanks.

A very well-written poem. We all have a different idea of what life should be. We mostly dream about a carefree and problem free life, but in reality life has more problems than solutions.

    I agree with you entirely. It is in the bosom of Art we seek what reality of life denies us. World without poetry and poets will be an unbearable sojourn in the treeless desert. Thanks for reviewing and commenting.

Good thoughts but some errors mar the work.
Line2, surely you meant "then" but wouldn't once be better?
The line that begins "In human life . . ." and the line that follows express the same idea.
Came into this world and everyone must exit -is clearer
Still strong thoughts

    I do not see in line 2 a 'then ' or', if ' once ' has a place. There are no errors. It is not an essay or legal freef; it is a poem that reflects poet's emotions, feelings and thought. However, there is a typo error in first line that cause it to be the same idea. it should have been:
    "In human life, vagaries of fate-all unknown;
    But know the ups and down turns, our life takes.
    I have corrected that line. Thanks for pointing it.
