Informative and well justified topic based on your references of facts, not assumption or opinions. This approach gives more credibility to the information you are conveying. Your voice is similar to the voice of a lecturer, professor, or documentary on tv. Because of this, and the fact that you provided a lengthy piece here, I recommend you alter your direct delivery of voice to maintain the appeal for all types of readers. Fortunately, for me, I find this topic to be engaging. However, some may simply dismiss it, and simply search for a fairy tale to better pass their time. I take it you were aiming for the scholarly group?

I agree with what you discussed about language and communication. I liked your statement about, "We can change our point of view, but what we cannot change what is true." Your ideas are well presented, and organized. The beginning quotes with Thomas Jefferson and Aristotle were point on and were properly delivered to provide substance to your presentation. Strong piece overall, and quite impressive. Good luck and hope to encounter more of your insight.

A very well-written article about the secret of life. We can learn to read and calculate or play music or participate in any sport. We have the ability to grow and excell in anything we have interest in. Only when we learn to look into our soul no other knowledge have any meaning.

You obviously put a lot of time and research into this post. It contains a ton of information and allows for individual awareness. Because it encompasses so much, it was hard to follow your main points...But, thanks for all the definitions

People do not know the simple facts of life and some do not care to know. But in my way of thinking is you get out of life what you are willing to put into it. Nothing is life is free.

Cogitator: thanks for the quotes and information. I like the "I see you."
Who are we reflecting with our truths? Yes, many of the Presidents of the past
would shake their heads at the atmosphere in our politics. We wanted Bernie.
God is the truth and wisdom. Many people are searching for answers. You give
us many great thoughts. flylikeaneagle

Hello Cogitator,
It's a nice piece of Non-Fiction having interesting information.
Impressive phraseology with equally impressive Quotations at several places which enhance the beauty of this essay.
"The Utopian cannot be enslaved...to truth." I like this paragraph most.
Two suggestions: 1st, its starting should have been with the third paragraph. 2nd, it needs to be shortened to keep the reader's attention glued to it.
It's my opinion, and hope you won't mind.
Best of Luck!

I am beyond words as your essay or work of art has stretched my spirit and blown my mind.. IT made me look at myself and the world different was not expecting that. I am still digesting all of it.

Your ideas, though unoriginal, are quite insightful. I would argue multiple matters in your essay, including your emphasis on spirituality; I am not here to do that though.

What I wish to critique you on is your style of writing. It may suffice in a layman's playground, but it is rather repetitive. You would find your peers and betters weaning in interest as the paper drones on. If the message is not adequately conveyed, what does it matter if the means of communication is sound or not?

Another point is the tone you use in your essay. To some it would sound like a pompous man screaming out 'I am wiser than all!'. Socrates was given greater consideration for his humility, as ironic as that is.

However I did enjoy reading the work as a whole. As a somewhat like mind I can see the merit in your philosophies, and wish to read more as they come.

A most informative, interesting and thought-provoking read, albeit rather on the long side.

There are many languages on the planet that are used to convey thoughts(,) and feelings to one another and most of them - add comma

Mathematics is processed in our digital left hemisphere with logic(,) and music's - and here

Cognition means to KNOW(,) and re-cognition means to know again.

ever known someone who has come close to a perilous experience and said(,) "My life flashed before my eyes,"

I
m giving this six in spite fo the handful of minor nits because it's BRILLIANT!
So well-articulated, spiritually rich and deeply penetrating. Love the way you think. It's lucid and well-organized, and also supported by fine, apt quotes. Bravo

NOTES and SUGGESTIONS:

*Comma needed here:

There are many languages on the planet that are used to convey thoughts and feelings to one another(,) and most of them are used at a basic level of conversation that is not aimed at reaching a higher level of understanding.

But it is also a long sentence. Maybe make it two?

There are many languages on the planet that are used to convey thoughts and feelings to one another. Most of them are used at a basic level of conversation that is not aimed at reaching a higher level of understanding.

Insightful statement:

Probably the two methods that convey true messages best are higher mathematics and music.

Mathematics is processed in our digital left hemisphere with logic(,) and music's synchronicity is processed as emotion in the analog right hemisphere.

When both hemispheres are well-developed, we can start climbing the ladder of enlightenment.(MOVE THIS NEXT SENTENCE TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH--or make it a single line paragraph): What do we communicate about?

*Observing the magazine racks at the grocery checkout, watching vapid and inane television shows and the content on Facebook is(change IS to MAKES IT) pretty convincing that the most popular form of communication today is people talking about people.

Well voiced:

The masses don't want to be disturbed, even though they may be in misery. They are in misery, but they are accustomed to the misery. And anybody who is not miserable looks like a stranger. The Utopian is the greatest stranger in the world; he does not seem to belong to anybody. No organization confines him, no community, no society nor nation. His very way of being is rebellious - not because he is fighting against anybody or anything, but because he has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The Utopian challenges us to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who and what we are and to live according to truth.

*
Cognition means to KNOW(,) and re-cognition means to know again.

*recognition does not have a hyphen (above, and here too:

Every commonality we recognize in others must be contained within ourselves or else we couldn't re-cognize it.

*
Our consciousness seeks to understand(,) but for many, it stops seeking too soon to recognize the commonality of all life.

* We have to dis-cover it to recover it.

Is it intentional for poetic effect that you re hyphenating discover?

Insightful: Evil is "live" spelled backwards.

I love your coinage of G.O.D. - grand operating design!

*recognize (one word):

If you re-cognize the meaning of these words, you will never return to where you were at this moment.

Loved this movie--and your paragraph:
James Cameron's "Avatar" is a genius depiction of the conflict between the military/industrial complex and Mother Nature. It is an amazingly spiritual description of how we are all connected, as well. When a member of the indigenous population greets another, they acknowledge them by saying "I see you." This means that the kindred spirit they share is what is communicating. This is exactly what I am doing by expressing these words -- I SEE YOU.

*
If you've ever known someone who has come close to a perilous experience and said(,) "My life flashed before my eyes,"

* No comma required after both BUTs here:

But, what is connecting to what? The answer is THOUGHT. The entire universe we exist in is the creation of our thoughts -- whether we like it or not. Lower levels of understanding may have issue for taking responsibility for creating their situation, but, until they do, they will suffer.

The book titles should be in italics:

George Boole wrote "The Laws of Thought" and "The Calculus of Logic" in the mid-1800s.

*He is responsible for Boolean Logic(,) which operates in every piece of software that exists in every computer and recognizing that 0 and 1 constitute the binary nature of being, the only true numbering system that can exhibit Duality of life.

*

The ego strives to believe in beginnings and end(ing)s.

That's a BIG BANG of a closing thought:

What if every thought was actually the Big Bang?

Glad I had time to read this today. I'm not on FS as often as before...

Blessings,
rd
