I know, I feel that way too! I'm still trying to find access to my muse for a contest. It's been difficult.

My favorite stanza:
My mind is full of locutions
How can I express them best?
Do I string them together?
To tell a simple tale?
Do I write about puppy dog tails?
And Kitty growls (love this with 'dog tails' :P )

Hi TC; my muse has arrived, but the story is difficult. I can't get the character to fit the picture in my head. It will probably take a few days to write this one.

This is a great poem on the creative process, of that moment of imagination, when the possibilities, like an empty page, sit before us. the story is a glimpse of something larger, and it can go anywhere from here. that is the beauty of writing. It can take you anyplace, any time, to anyone. All of these open ended themes are in this poem. Asking questions was a great choice to make this theme relevant to the reader. estory
