I totally approve of your choice
Your writing is clear with a strong voice
Both entertaining and amusing
I like the style that you are using
Dang, maybe I should have saved this for my own use
Looks like I got robbed by your clever muse.
LOL. Very good poem.
I'm talking about yours not mine

thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. My muse was in a mood this morning. She was contemplative and wanted to be heard,

Hi Jan; thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. My muse was very definite today - she wanted to express how she was feeling!

A nicely written free verse that really doesn't answer its own questions. Makes for an interesting approach, Patty. In a way, it is kind of sad the writer really doesn't write at all with a cursor on a screen. We are typists - and many schools no longer teach cursive.

Yes, you are so right. I rarely write with a pen and paper anymore. On my trip to Minnesota, I didn't take my laptop, and I wrote for a few days by hand - it felt like such a chore!
They certainly don't teach cursive anymore, and I've even run into a few young people that cannot read it!

The future is looking a tad bleak for this generation. Tons of communicating with nothing being said.

I also feel like that when confronting a blank page, that´s why I can identify with what you say in your poem.
Very nice read.
Thanks for sharing.

thank you so much for reading. I'm glad you could relate to the words of the poem. I think most of us on the site can and do,

Nice poem for a nice thought. Soon I'll be free to do the same... just have this one book left to edit. Last year I wrote short stories, and that was so much fun. It was just as you describe--what will I write today? :)

Hi Phyllis; I am enjoying this hiatus from working on my personal memoirs and editing the pet stories. Now that the bulk has been sold, I can concentrate on new stuff.
I'm enjoying the book you are editing; I love the story line. But, I'm sure you will enjoy the freedom to write what you like - new and shiny!

Ah, the wonderful feeling of anticipation when the prospects are wide open. Truth or fiction is an interesting concept. Truth in fiction can often be found, I think, not because one is writing the literal truth but because we want our characters to be true to themselves. Puppy tails! Kitty growls! That's your pet stories all right:-)

Hi; thank you for stopping by to read and review my morning thoughts. As I sat here contemplating what I would work on, the poem just popped into my head - full formed!

A lovely little free verse poem telling us of your thoughts about what you might write.
I wish my mind wasn't so full to the brim of what I want/need to write - I've a job to drop off to sleep for thoughts rattling around in my head.
I vote you write about puppy dog tails - And Kitty growls - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

LOL! I'm sure yours won't be the only vote for a puppy/kitty story. I will see what the muse has in mind,

Very good. When I write I never know what will show up. I usually start with just one word. By the time I've typed it a sentence pops into my head. Then a paragraph. I never know what direction the story will take or what the last line will be until I write it.

Hi Thomas; I usually have some sort of road map in mind when I start to write. Though it isn't unusual to take a detour onto a completely different road!

I kind of wish I would get back to making myself write everyday, the other part thinks I write better when I don't force it - just let it come.
Good thoughts in poetic form:)

Hi teresa; I find that if I exercise the writing muscle every day - even if it is to write reviews, I'm all the better for it,

Oh the anticipation of the pen and words that spill out and tell a tale, truth or opinion! I just love it when I start my poems and the wonderment of what will be, you wrote of the process and made a beautiful poem here, love Dolly x
