Hi rebekka; I seem to have this issue every time I sit down to write these days. I have developed a few story lines that folks like to follow, my soul aches to express itself in poetic form, and I need to tell the story in 'Grammy's Memoirs.'

Its always a toss up. I'm currently wresting with a new character, and she is difficult to draw out,

Great poem, I guess we all find ourself in that situation, and almost daily. I like that feeling, because often my stories surprise me when they get to the end. Thanks for sharing and have a great day

Good on you, as we say in Australia as a term of praise. I have certainly been thankful we met only a relatively short time ago. Truth is, you never disappoint me.

Really love this, and so relatable by us poets and writers. It is a cute and
witty quiz to tweak the muse with, and see what happens. Every day
poses a writing mystery or challenge; and one way or another, most
of us just do our thing as it comes. Sometimes even one mere sentence
is an accomplishment for the day...or an inspiration that will gel for
few days or months.
Thanks for sharing....Adore that cup picture!
Best wishes, Ronni

What will I write today and revise... and get another idea off the first. This poem spoke to me today, nicely done! Now what to write tomorrow???

Thanks for sharing this poem which ask the question regard what you will write today.

For me, the question is an easy one. I rarely write poetry. Nor do I consider myself particular good at this.

Thus, it's always novel or short-story time. JW

Mustangpatty1029,

Thoughts are expressed and described well. Very informative and soulful, full of vivid impressions, effective and impressive. Very nicely written work. Perfectly arranged & formatting is wonderful. Good flow. Understandable.

There was no SPAG, no typos, no room for improvement.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

This poem expresses my muddled mind most days when I sit down to write. It flows well and there are no nits. My favorite line is: my mind is full of locutions. Good writing.

Hmm..we've all been there!
My favourite line is the very first one!
'Blinking cursor on a vast white page'
Yes, the page always looks enormous when the thoughts just won't materialise.
This is a well thought out poem and describes the many processes one goes through before the plot evolves.
Enjoyed the read : )

Hi there; thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. The fear of the blank page has gotten to at least one of us, and it is real,

I enjoyed reading your writing poem. I suppose it feels like this for some. Sometimes I too, long to think like this. However, I chose to start a novel. Now I know what I have to write! Urgh. That commitment takes freedom of choice for a while, but I suppose the reward is the completion.

Hi CG: thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. I appreciate your kind words - hand in there with the novel; you can always take a break with a short story or a poem.
