Love for you never ends,
In front of you, I bow
You have the sweetest smile,
I am so happy now

this is such a lovely poem - your words speaking of your love and the joy you feel from being loved - we are so fortunate to have found true love in our lifetime.

Margaret

Hi Margaret; I'm so glad you liked this poem. The repeating line and the rhyming scheme made it very challenging, but I just kept 'futzing' with it. Your review made me smile,

True though, isn't it. We are lucky - so many lonely people out there that never meat their soulmate. Mine's just brought me a latte and cookies - sigh - he's so good to me.

Yes, we are VERY lucky. I remember to be thankful and kind every time I realize just how lucky I am,

Hi Meia; thank you for such a lovely review of this piece. The ampeletum has a lot of moving parts, but it is a great challenge, and I needed to write a love poem. (Sometimes, the urge just gets strong.) Hope you are doing well,
    ~patty~ xoxo

Hi; I looked for the Love Poetry contest - but I didn't see it in the listings. Its just as well, I rarely win those things anyway. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem - and my new profile pic.

Cool poem. I'm not a good judge of syllables and all that, even if I count them. I just know what I like.

My favorite stanza is the last:
Love for you never ends,
In front of you, I bow
You have the sweetest smile,
I am so happy now

Love your new profile photo--the hat looks great on you!

This is the first time I hear of an ampeletum so I'm grateful you explained in your notes.
Lovely romantic poem. I like it when you say you fit me like a glove.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi; thank you so much for stopping by to read and review. This poetic form is one I found back in 2011, right here on this site. It has many moving parts, so it can be challenging - but fun,

A very smoothly scribed work indeed, the even trimetric lines work superbly well. It works so well for anything with a nice even narrative, cleverly scribed, it's basically an abcb rhyme scheme, which assists its evenness, an excellent job of this form, a new one on me, proving I don't know much, heh, heh, well done, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy; thank you so much for reading and reviewing. This poetic form was from way back in 2011, when I first came to the site. I haven't seen one in quite some time. I appreciate your kind words of encouragement,

Such a busy poem to write - with all the requirements - to achieve such a simple and lovely poem. I like the form and your rhymes made me smile. - Wendy

A very nice poem to this "new" form
It seems there are more forms than leaves on a tree
This one has a very nice rhyme pattern
and works well with a love poem
Excellent choice of art work, too
Well done

Hi; thank you so much for this lovely review of my poem. It was an interesting write in order to have it fit the requirements of the poem, but I think I met the challenge.
