Thanks for introducing me to this poem. I like the fast pace of it and it goes well with the myriad of questions one might have when experiencing new love with all the excitement, joy and fears.

Mustangpatty,

You did a nice job with this one. Your arrangement here is very creative. Very enchanted flow of words. Well chosen words, colorful arrangement and wonderfully decorated thoughts.

There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

This is an interesting form using some intricate rhyming and repetition to bind it together. Your poem follows the formula well! I was amused by the name Ampeletum! It made me think that true love often does lead to an ample tum! LOL

LOL! I'm not sure where the name came from; though it does seem that such a complicated form would have a complex name. Thank you so much for reading and for the delightful review,

Thank you for sharing this romantic and heartfelt poem.
Also for the lesson about the Ampeletum form. I must admit I've never heard of this nor seen it written, until today.
I would imagine it is hard to create flow with such a strict syllable count and other requirements but you have managed to do that and with feeling.
I take my hat off to you : )

This is the first time I've seen this form, and I've been here six years now. It's really nice. When we fall in love, we have to believe it's forever, or there would be no point.
Yet, many marriages do falter and then it's up to the couple to work a bit harder to get that spark back. Well done, my friend, another lovely poem from you. :) Sandra xx

Patty,
I enjoyed your sweet love poem. You did a great job with a complex format. Your lines read well. I like the repeating line--it fits in nicely. The image is great, too. Thanks for sharing this style that is new to me. Jan

I enjoyed reading your poem about love and of the way it makes a person in love feel. Young love is like that and so too is lasting true love. It has the ability to make one feel needed, liked and loved. That's what life is all about. If you have no love, then you have nothing.

This poem, Love's Ampeletum, follows the rules that you have described and makes the desired revelation of love and the acceptance that love.

I rarely comment on or notice formats in poetry. It judge only on content, and this is one good work.

I feel a lot of self doubt flowing through this one. Remember love only flourishes when both parties compliment each other. You two seem to have it covered

Such a sweet and beautiful story of finding that special someone. When your heart longs so badly to be loved by that one person that you plead for God to just please let you have them it is such a wonderful feeling. Great job!

Hi; I was just wondering what was missing from this poem for it be a five star rating? I'm just curious. Your comments indicate that you enjoyed it and it was a great job. Let me know how you feel it could be better.

I do love this piece ! :) I just double checked to make sure of what I saw yesterday Patty, what happened is that the ratings did not go above 5 stars. I just looked again and it still only allows me to go to 5. I thought it was strange but I just chose the highest rating it allowed :) No worries, I would have selected 6 if it let me. Have a beautiful day!

you know - that happens to me sometimes. When I run out of sixes, I start to go to the second one up, and I end up giving a 'four' instead of a 'five.'
Thank you for your thoughts and reconsideration. I appreciate it, ~p~
