Oh that's good. I can taste the drink right now. I'd get in trouble if I tried the lip thing. This is wonderfully descriptive and the picture is perfect. Awesome job!

Nice work on this story. I do have two notes. Is the girl speaking the last line? If so, I'd recommend placing the last line in the previous paragraph. Also, I suggest a three dot ellipsis after but instead of the em dash. Good luck in the contest.

Apollo or not, some men have that uncanny knack of animal attraction.
Charm, wit, intelligence, and a good sense of humor can get you much further with the ladies than six pack abs can (although six pack abs don't hurt either, lol).
