Amen. Hope you get worked through them. I'm trying too. Really pissed at relatives, and I can hold a grudge forever. I need to forgive, even though they're not sorry. Your poem is a beautiful inspiration to me. Blessings...

Thank you for your encouraging and thoughtful review. I greatly appreciate your comments.
I understand your grudge. Relatives can really piss you off and my daughter-in-law is my cross to bear. I've had to forgive her for my own sake but she will never say she's sorry.

It's my husbands daughter. She won't apologize either. She has insulted both of us. Oh well....got a daughter-in-law like that too. Isn't family fun??? Can't wait til Christmas!!!

My son and his family moved from PA to Alaska so they don't have to deal with any of the family - so I don't have to worry about Christmas. I don't have to deal with her...But that means I don't get to see the grandchildren either. Yeah--family is fun. Well....maybe not!!!!

The good and the bad of it. Ours are all right here. Except for the ones we like, ha ha.

I enjoyed reading your poem "Life Struggles". It rhymed well and your photo also suggested stormy times. We all pray that our prayers will be answered.
Best of luck.

This speaks a prayer to God with a request to grace to grow and share after losing the life battles and deserted by others, now wish to struggle anew; I liked and enjoyed the read.

Jmf4119,
The poem rhymed beautifully. The theme flowed well all through your poem. I cannot say whether I liked the rhyme or the theme the best but both of them were very well done.
There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

Hello Janet:
I feel the hurt in your poem. Many times, the decisions we make hurt us. I have some regrets in that regard. But God has helped me through, which I am very thankful for. This has enabled me to forgive myself and move forward one day at a time. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you my friend.

This shows a woman who can't get over lost earthly love but is praying for the strength to see God's/Jesus' lover will make her whole again to accept new earthly love.

Yes, God is good even when we feel brokenhearted. I like how the poem articulates so well the pain of being hurt by a loved one. Then the poem turns to the God Who heals the brokenhearted and always loves.

I noted the confused and searching pilgrim in knowing not what he/she is searching for entirely, not knowing what God's love looks like, does it have expectations and rules? And it doesn't, the only choice is faith, and He will do the rest! Beautifully written, I remember the early days of knowing God, it took awhile for me to grasp absolutely, that God loved me beyond expectation, beyond my fallenness, He took me as I was, and wiped away my blemishes. Well done Janet, beautifully written, in even meter and abab rhyming, blessings, Roy

This was an interesting and thought provoking work. I am sorry to hear that things haven't been going to well for you.
for those who have faith then God is the one constant love in their lives, those who don't will always struggle. Still in the darkest moments it is hard to remember this
