I have never came across this form before. I enjoyed the rhythm and flow, but I cannot judge the structure. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

thank you for reviewing my poem. I found this poetic form here on FanStory a few weeks back. Someone created it for a contest. I didn't enter the contest, but I kept the requirements and tried it,

Oh lovely! I like this doudecliner formatted poem. The growth of the thought, then rhyme, gives it a vibrant aspect. The concept of a loving service was uplifting. A very enjoyable read.

This is an interesting poetry form. Yours is well done from what I can see and the artwork seems to perfectly express your words. We do love our kids no matter what. Marilyn

A form I'd never heard of! Thanks, dear Patty.

Good poem....fine substance, fine flow and good rhyming. Great flow and fluid enjambment. I like the rhythmic punctuation of this line being two five-syllable sentences:

Will it be enough? Can it really help?

One suggestion:

with loved(-)one's pain?

NICE:
understanding, true grace, real space.

Well voiced:
Fill their need, not the one in your head.

Good questions:
Will it be enough? Can it really help?

A perfect closing:

Only real love can fill the huge void they feel,
set a beautiful table and serve them this meal.

Inspiring!

Love,
rd

From his very birth
true love has flowed like rain,
but now is the time to give
understanding, true grace, real space.
Fill their need, not the one in your head.
Will it be enough? Can it really help?
Only real love can fill the huge void they feel,
set a beautiful table and serve them this meal.' beautiful write, wow the Duodecliner sounds quite the challenge but as always you have lived up to it. Very well done heartfelt poem love Meia x

Your poem is a true reflection on life.

How
on earth
can one live
with loved one's pain?

Love conquers all. Love heals. Without love, we have nothing.

I enjoyed this poem. Thanks for sharing.

Not an easy task to come up with a Duodecliner, it does seem...and you did quite a remarkable job with this poem, and chose quite the picture to enhance it, being the subject as to ease one's pain, can be in many a mind as there is so much in this world to contend with and if one would consider how he or she would like to be treated with if they had the pain of whatever placed on them...Love and true understanding seems the best and initial answer to be what that person needs to help somone else with whatever the pain...help cope, and give them hope.
