Hey, we shared a win. Your poem is awesome and I see we also share views. Just when you think he can't make things worse, he does. Congratulations. Hope we can compete on a happier subject.

Thank you so much, Seaglass, for your generosity. That 's the only sixer it received, and I appreciate it a lot..
You're right about his remarkable talent for making bad situations worse. It's hard to resist writing about DJT, and it might not be long before I gather what he already has contributed to my portfolio into an FS book, part one. .
Thanks again!

You certainly captured the Pres. and his failures in a nutshell. He is a liar, a cretin and a narcissist. But to me, it is also frightening to see the far left progressives and press, who have been trying to chew his throat out since the nomination, willing to throw the country under the bus too in order to "resist." The entire political picture is a nightmare; both sides. You have nicely summed up the first four, as the contest requested. - Wendy

When the whole truth is out, it will be hard to criticize those of us who were convinced of it all along. I have been aware of his immorality, dishonesty, and otherwise unconscionable behavior for about thirty-five years. Knowing all this during his candidacy, and then his presidency, has be as frustrating as not being able to convince your neighbors that their babysitter is a child molester.
Nothing is more important now than exposing him for what he is, and getting him out of office, preferably incarcerated. I may have understated my position, Wendy, but I think you probably got my drift.
Thanks for your compliments, and voicing your concerns (don't worry about them anymore).

In this piece of excellent flow and rhyming, you have told me more than I was able to find out otherwise and even understand a few.lol
Strong piece for the contest and can't wait to see how it does.

No one does poems like this better than you. You have a terrific sense of humor and a terrific ability to put it into honest, true, and humorous style. Great entry for this contest and I sincerely wish you all the best.

Aw, shucks, Sasha. You've got me blushing now. That's a lot to live up to. You did lay it on, you know - but don't stop!
Hugs,
Don

So far every entry in this contest I have read has been written by Trump haters. Unbelievable. I guess you would rather have Hillary? (Ugh.) Some said they didn't like Hilary either. Their choice was Bernie. Great, a communist. As least we wouldn't worry about Russia's influence.

Thomas, I appreciate your loyalty, and your even-handed use of the rating system.
As to Donald Trump, we obviously view him quite differently, and we know he'll be judged by the effects of his actions. I'm sure we both want him to steer us safely through these difficult times.
I notice an apparent shift in FanStorians' opinions of Trump. Until recently, I would have said it was roughly 50-50. Now it looks to me more like 70-30 against.
With the country so divided, and so many of us so passionate in our convictions, I think it's very important that we don't make enemies of each other, just as most of us don't dislike others because of their different religious beliefs.
I hope you can agree to that. :)

Wow, I can't believe there is a contest that counts Donald Trump's months of presidency/future presidency.
Your poem summarized his four months of presidency quite well. I did not vote him. However, because he is our leader, I wish him well. If he fails, we all fail.
Good luck in the contest.
