Oh, such a beautiful poem and a wonderful picture with touching words to very much compliment your poem whicvh also is a gesture of love to your mom, celebrating her first Birthday in Heaven. And, Thank Goodness she lived a long life here. Though, know you still miss her so, and have...I know plenty of good memories of her to cherish... Missing her still a lot....As I do my parent who passed over two decades ago. Though with our fervent faith in God's grace and the afterlife, we must think they are soulfully happy in a much deserved Heavenly realm.

My mother died when I was fifteen from addiction. I wish to God that she was still here, so this is a really bad time for me too. It gets better as time goes on--I know those words don't help. Your poem pays her honor.

Sure, some mothers are better than others. Like you, I was fortunate enough to have a very loving, caring, nurturing and supportive mom growing up.
I also realize that's not the case for everyone.
Still, we only get one mother in this life.
I'm fortunate enough to still have both of my parents still living. It is something I will never take for granted.

Even though, we don't know how Heaven and Earth are intertwined, it seems that the spiritual realm is not that far as we know Jesus is near. I always take your words to heart to spend time with our mothers when we can. My Mom lives far but we email and skype regularly. Thanks for sharing your lovely tribute. â?¤
