I love your little lune and the picture you've chosen to go with it.
Dogs are great companions and love without expecting anything in return.
Thanks for sharing.

Great big hearts

We don't have a pet right now but I can definitely identify with the sentiment.

Such cuties. It qualifies as a Lune that's for sure. Good job. Not used to reading something so short from you. Can't wait to read your next piece. Great job, well done.

LOL! It is indeed a rarity for me to be so brief. I have problems with these short poetic forms. It just feels like there isn't enough syllables to properly tell a story. Thank you for reading,

Your Lune is pleasant and pretty. You know that I love to see your puppies. They are so adorable and precious. I also did not know what a Lune is. So thank you for this education. I am still learning. PERFECT...

Hi Patty, just love your doggy poems. this one is no exception.. full of warmth and that fuzzy feeling you get being around dogs. the picture sets the scene perfectly and the last line in your lune poem says it all. ' giving forever'... got to love our dogs .... thanks for the beautifully refreshing ride. . happy smiles to you ,mel xxx

I look up and I see God, I look down and see my dog.
Simple spelling G O D, same word backwards, D O G.
They would stay with me all day. I'm the one who walks away.
But both of them just wait for me, and dance at my return with glee.

Both love me no matter what - divine God and canine mutt.
I take it hard each time I fail, but God forgives, dog wags his tail.
God thought up and made the dog, dog reflects a part of God.
I've seen love from both sides now, it's everywhere, amen, bow wow.

I look up and I see God, I look down and see my dog.
And in my human frailty...I can't match their love for me.
~Wendy Francisco

Cute lune, Patty...

A dog is a master of unconditional love. This is very well written with an interesting flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme.
